Take a look at some of my experiences throughout my 4 years at IUI!
Mathematics Assistance Center (MAC)
I started working at the MAC during my sophomore year as a tutor for Finite math. It was my very first job and I highly recommend the MAC to anyone looking for their first job. After my first year as a tutor, I was promoted to Manager where I oversaw the Finite math section and took care of administrative tasks relating to the MAC. While working at the MAC, I have learned patience, confidence, and developed a growth mindset.
Vietnamese Student Association (VSA)
I have served VSA at IUPUI as their treasurer in 2021-2022 and their president from 2022 - 2024. Throughout my years involved with VSA, I have learned how to better communicate with my peers, how to deal with difficult situations, time management, and event coordination. What I have learned from VSA will help me in my next professional steps by allowing me to handle difficult/high-stress situations with a level head. Additionally, I will be able to juggle doing multiple things at once while still maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
